Updated: Jul 1
Everyone over the age of two is expected to wear a mask inside of public places including government buildings and private businesses.
Minneapolis, MN - Mayor Jacob Frey signed an emergency order yesterday requiring all people to wear a face mask or covering while inside, until further notice, effective Tuesday. Everyone over the age of two must wear a mask or face covering in government buildings, service centers, retail stores, hotels, the skyway system, schools, hotels, universities & recreational facilities. While businesses are expected to refuse entry to anyone who is not complying, they are not required to provide masks to customers or employees. This regulation is the first of its kind in the state of Minnesota. St. Paul is considering mandating masks as well.
